Now I KNOW lot of work goes into each match night presentation & I KNOW everyone is a volunteer etc etc etc
BUT, dont you think the music played on match nights hasnt changed since the first season of Phoenix? Im not into chart music personally but I do think we need some new stuff played to make new fans feel we are bang upto date - the other night we played some Janes Addiction (which I LOVE) but that was released some 20 years ago!!!!!!!!! This is just only 1 instance.
Does anyone else agree?

No major problem with the music (at least we've dropped "Kylie" and "Bob the Builder" (**shudder**) etc that used to get played at Storm games. On the other hand, if I never heard "Summer of 69" again, it would be too soon

I always duck out of music debates, as i believe there's only one genre of music for ice hockey, and that's thrash metal.

Fast sport, fast music.
Heavy hits, heavy music.
Brutal fights, brutal music.
Wouldn't quite work if they played poppy bollocks during a fight, so don't see why they should during the rest of the game.
However, i will save this tactic for when i win the Euro millions, and establish a league not unlike the LNAH of Quebec..

I'd drop the pop/dance shite.
I always feel that the wrong choice of music can suck the atmosphere right out of the Dome. If the team are playing a high tempo, hard hitting game, keep the music matching.
And we should play 'Always look on the Bright Side of Life' after the games at the minute.

I suppose thats better than my idea of playing "Embarrassment" by Madness. (Showing my age a bit there )

I still think we should come out to "Too Drunk to F***" by Dead Kennedys

Same here, most of the stuff is ok but those two I really don't like. I think there should be some new stuff too.

Some more drum and bass would be alright too, that's got the right kind of attitude and tempo at least.

Went to Romford on Saturday and they played some absolutely brilliant music. It all really helped the atmosphere.
This was really funny though. Both teams were lined up for the National Anthem, everyone stood up and the tune that came on was "We're gonna win!", not once but twice, they gave up in the end.!! Priceless
As I have said, the music was excellent. Different music to any I have heard at many other rinks. Well done to whoever chooses their music.
