Once I've got over that fact that it'll be five long months before I'm sat/stood at my seat at the Ice Dome (I hate this time of year) I'll possibly get around to doing some of the things I've been putting off for the past seven months - no excuses now.
Summer = Rec Hockey season, so I'll be lacing them up for the Blackburn Falcons one more time.
Apart from that, I'll be getting my sports fix from watching the Mancester Titans American Football team every chance I get. Great excuse to give the ol' vocal cords a workout during the post-season.

Hi Karen, It's a brand new ship, first cruise for it is this month, I think it's called the Celebrity Equinox or Eclipse something to do with the moon. Sailing from Southampton down to the Canary isles stopping off at Madeira. Can't wait, never been on a cruise, anyone got any tips. I wish I was going to the World Champs, international hockey is brilliant. Pete

Pete I was asking because my brother-in-law works for Carnival UK which is the parent company for Cunard, P&O, Princess and Yachts of Seabourne. He's Head of Compliance which is quite high up and although he's shore based in S'hampton he does have to sail on the ships to do audits. I would have mentioned to him you were going if it was one of their ships but unfortunately it's not. I don't think he'll have any tips apart from enjoy yourselves and don't eat too much!!

Hi Karen, I used to work in Data Protection, so I can imagine he would want to get on the ships as much as possible and away from the office, I know I did want to get out as much as possible. I am worried about eating too much, it's my one small downfall ;D, I will just have to be strong! It's only next month Pete
