Any thoughts on this game? We can't afford to lose this weekend at all.
I'll go for a win by a couple of goals.

I don't do predictions, but I'll go as far as to say that my "Playoff nerves" have started two weeks early this year Have to agree - has to be two wins from two this weekend.

I also don't like making predictions as it usually upsets the hockey gods. Going down to Swindon on Saturday, got a place on the coach so the drum will be with me (it's a bit like the force, only more impact ;D in fact it's only just over a month until Star Wars day ) Pete

The Storm were annihiltated 7-1 by the Steelers (which was even more painful than it sounds) 2. I was told at the box office that there weren't any seats in the away block (how naive was I?? (although, in fairness, it was a good numer of seasons ago)), so I was sat right at the front of the first block of Steelers fans. 4. The view was awful. 5. The one goal that we did score should have been disallowed (IMHO) 6. It was Frankies last game (IIRC) 7. I swear, all the above it true I guess the lesson is that you must never upset the Hockey Gods

Lose by a goal, lose by 8 goals - it's still a loss.
Is that glass I see half-full by any chance??

This season we don't seem to have done very well when it comes to "must win" games. Is it the pressure?
We were lucky tonight, with Flames and Bison both losing too. We won't be so lucky tomorrow. If we finish 5th, the playoff game will be on Saturday and I won't be able to go. So please can we win this one?

Hi All,
Being measured up for the pads as we speak! I may not be as mobile as some of the goalies but at least I will cover most of the space between the pipes ;D
First period we were mostly in control, then we let one in on a penalty kill. Two goals from Walker and the rest was shite. Mattson was playing in Sheffield I think, because he certainly wasn't in Swindon. Boots and #8 Wood played about the best.
I think we have a new choirboy in Becky, she seemed to enjoy playing the drum and when she tried a rumble she almost got it right, move over Simon.
The coach driver was one of the most rude, miserable, unproffessional (I could go on) drivers I have ever come across. There are quite a few incidents of his rudeness but one that stands out is when Andre Payette approached him before we set off on the way back and said (actual words) "Excuse me sir, could you please turn the overhead lights on so that we can read" he curtly replied "NO", I personally would have gone off of one if that would have been said in that manner to me. We were driving on the M5 and the overhead information boards were showing that the M6 North juntion was closed and that J8-J9 M6 was closed, so what does he do but take us on a 30 minute diversion that makes us join the M6 south of the bit that is closed so we end up having to rejoin the M5 to travel back towards where we have come from and then follow the diversion that we would have followed if we had just stayed on the M5 to start with. I feel better getting that off my chest. He was an idiot.
Pete

Good grief - do some people actually get trained on customer service?
