With the way the results went this weekend we are back to the heady heights of 3rd place, and hopefully with our run in, barring any major injurys or upsets, we should keep this spot for the Playoffs and build confidence to get to the Finals Weekend.
Over the last 2 weeks there seems to have been a more defined line structure, not the Tony and Ed show, without Jakko being wasted playing defense and the younger players given more ice time and consequently more chance to shine.

Nice summary of the game in your blog thingyo Rob.
After the last couple of weeks, i'd be delighted if Payette was back next year. I think he's finally begining to find a level where he is aggressive and intimidating, but not sat in the box immediately afterwards (well, not every time). As for actually being here next year..... who knows? I'm sure Tony would probably like the idea, but i'd imagine its more down to what Andre wants than anything. I'd personally re-sign him and ditch his A for the C.
The Scims game was one of the best i've seen at the dome full stop. Before the game, i'd only witnessed one scrap at home (Bowie V MacPherson - totally missed the Payette/Wiggins tilt!), so to have 3 in one game really made my day. I do hark on a lot about fighting, which probably bores some folk to death, but if you try and tell me that a goal can get our crowd going as much as when Andre threw his gloves on the deck and called Wilson over...... well, i call you a liar!
Props to Wilson for stepping up against Andre. I don't really know anything about the guy, but anyone willing to drop the gloves fairly with anyone who challenges gets my instant respect. I can imagine Wilson would possibly destroy half the agitators in the league, but he was always going to struggle against the experience of Payette. (as i posted on eihlhockeyfights.co.uk, he didn't look like he was here to play gay euro hockey lol).
And to see Tony fight with my own solo polo vision. It was beautiful. It took me a few seconds to react, as i thought i'd missed my chance to see it happen in the away game at MK. But it really did make my day, and possibly my hockey-watching life.
Didn't see much of the Hagelberg V >insert Scim's name here< fight, but it seemed a bit inconclusive.
On the whole.... Proper job.
