Just to put people in the picture. As Rob Hitchin said, Mr Morris blustered in and declared that the Supporters Club would be a Limited Company and he would be in sole control of said company. He stated he was not going to interfere with the running of the club and was only doing this to protect the club. IMHO Utter baloney. It is just Mr Morris wanting to be in control of everything again. The working committee picked by him, did not know he was going to actually do this until 5 minutes before the meeting started. The committee all thought that it was going to be up for discussion. How wrong they were. It turned out to be his way or the highway. Unfortunately, he managed to persuade the happy clappies that he was right and the blind faithful kissed his backside and that was that.
NEIL MORRIS DOES NOT WANT THE SUPPORTERS CLUB TO SUCCEED. I would plea to the fans to join the club and make it work despite him. If we go down the route of an unofficial club, it would divide the fan base and both would be doomed to failure, again that is what he wants.
Please support the “hand picked” committee and they will deliver an excellent supporters club that will benefit all. The group are totally committed to serving the best interests of its members as well as the club itself. Please don’t let one man with an over inflated ego spoil what could indeed be a great supporters organisation Thanks

Mmmmm.
What I cant get my head round is WHY is wouldn't want it to succeed?
The money goes to his club (via donations - support for players kit / welfare /events which get press coverage etc) no matter if its an independent or official Supporters Club.
I'm wondering if NM wants to get their backs up to ensure the committee work really hard to make it a success so he gets more money out of it to 'prove him wrong' using reverse psychology................
Thats the only reason I can think of.
