What would you call them, what colours would they play in?
I still love the name the Manchester Monarchs (which was in the running before Storm was chosen) I think I use that name & have them in a 'Crown' LA Kings style jersey for home & with 'Monarchs' running diagonally across the chest from shoulder to hip for the away jersey. Colours would be Purple, Silver & Black.
You?

Hi All,
Picking up the tag "If I (YOU) owned a hockey team"
I'd still support the Phoenix.
Pete
PS Still thinking about the other answer.

Dave and I have always had a dream that if we ever won a big lottery win we would move permanently to Devon and own a hockey team. It would be called the Exeter Exocets ;D Would have to be purple, silver & black.

I read somewhere that a youth soccer team managed to get a sponsorship with a "modern beat combo" by the name of Motorhead (their coach was an ex-roadie IIRC) Needless to say, if I could pull it all together, it would be the "Manchester Motorheads" (with an all black strip)

Manchester Revolution, historically significant and sounds ace.
Silver, electric blue and black colour scheme, similar to Schwenninger Wild Wings' 08/09 kit actually.

The Lancashire Nightmare, playing in black with illuminous green trim as home jersey and some new fangled, cheesy, horror-influenced logo on the chest.
(if i could somehow secure sponsorship with Monster Energy, it would be the Lancashire Monsters. The chest would see a 'Monsters' logo, in the font used by Monster energy, possibly even the Monster Energy 'claw' M)
Road jersey would be the inverted version of the home.
And 3rd/alternate, the most hideously over-coloured, over-luminous mish mash of every colour possible.
We would run special jerseys for Help For Heroes, which would have to be some form of custom camo, involving black and illuminous green. And naturally, an orange version of the road jersey for a halloween jersey
All jerseys heavy-weight and embroidered. Hoorah!
1 finesse line, 1 checking line, 1 purely goon/enforcer/fighting line.

The Manchester Rapids (another historic name)
Red, with white/Black trim for home. Black, with Red/White trim for road. Jersey laid out a la NY Rangers (diagonal logo)
