Hi All,
Just woke up and now having my breakfast having come back from Guildford/Bracknell. 12 of us went down to "southern" land to watch the games.
I think I can speak for all of us when I say that we had a great weekend, a good bit of fun was had by all, several hangovers on Sunday.
How I would wish for a facility like the Spectrum Arena in Guildford, it has it all, swimming pool, ice rink, sports halls.
I think it was a full crowd on Saturday, as when I checked the Spectrum ticket site on Saturday morning there were 30 spaces in the away seating area, then 16 seats in the home blocks and about 100 standing spaces but we had several Guildford fans in the away block and people stood up all around the rink. Plenty of banter between the fans, although I had been told that the Guildford fans were the most noisy around the EPL, fairly average to me.
How I wish that we had a defence coach, there is no cohesion to the defence, we have some great defencemen, Boots, Mattson (when he wants to be) its just that they seem to loose there way.
Bracknell was a good night, at least we won. Joy Tottman had her lucky dip bag of penalty calls with her, she made some good calls and some from thin air which where they came from is anyones guess. I would add that this was for both teams she wasn't biased.
The little girl in the Fone jersey was just a sweetheart, she was about 2 or 3 and was clapping along with our drumming. Simon get your finger out, I want one that me and your mum can return at the end of the day
Pete
