Tempted, but I'm even more tempted by Airbourne at the Apollo.

Hey Karen, You and Lucy enjoy yourselves, it will be like the Marstercard advert without Sheffield being there PRICELESS ;D and fairly empty, I must check out Ebay to see if there are any tickets from Steelers fans on there. I'm sure we'll enjoy ourselves.
We'll be following the Phoenix scores by text.
Apparently Sheffield were given 3 blocks and only sold 1. I think a lot of their fans didn't expect them to get there after the way they've played all season.

Hi All,
Booked my tickets online yesterday as when I tried phoning the rink it seemed to be permantly engaged.
They seem to be expecting a large crowd and they are having a towel night. I might just take the one I use for my shower in the morning, that'll upset them ;D

Hi All,
Really enjoyed the game last night, should set things up for a barn stormer tonight. Phantoms netminder, Wall, kept them in the game as we outshot them 2-1, at times the Phantoms didn't look as thought they should have been on the ice as we outclassed them. Phantoms scored after 20 seconds from a howler from Fone who tried to clear the puck from behind his net round the boards but passed straight to a Phantoms player who then had an empty net to slot it into. Respect to Wall when he took the three players (two Phantoms and one Phoenix) taking him out of the game. As the Mattson incident was right in front of us but the players were skating away from us I wouldn't really like to comment on wether it was an elbow or not but the Phantoms player did have a blooded nose, if it was Wardell seeing the blood then calling the penalty or not I just don't know. If Mattson did elbow the Phantoms player in the face causing injury then he did deserve being ejected from the game, but I personally feel that was a bit strong. The Phoenix did play well to kill off the 5 minute from the incident. I hope that Walker is now talking normally instead of a high pitched voice, my advice would be to swallow hard and put them back into place, as he was on the breakaway and took a stick into where he wouldn't show his mother, which was on the 5 minute major from the Mattson incident it was obviously retribution from the Phantoms, it happened right in front of the linesman who didn't have the man grapes to let Wardell know, I don't know how Wardell missed it. Good solid performance from Poenix, but we should have been about 3 or 4 more goals up. It would be fair to say we won the game 1-0 last night, not the scores on the doors but crowd noise and atmosphere. Certainly beat the Phantoms fans hands down and they are one of the most atmospheric creating fans in the league.
See you all tonight.
Pete
