Hi All,
It's been a few years since I was at a playoff finals weekend where my team were involved in it. The last few years the pressure has been off and we have just had a laugh and caused mayhem, not that we won't have some fun but it will be different. Really looking forward to the coming weekend.
If we can take the atmosphere created last night, which was brilliant, with us we can be the extra player, especially with the amount of supporters we will have there. BOFs sit at the front!
I am in two minds about MKL not being there, part of me says that I would like to play them in playoff mode, but then another part says no. Congratulations to Swindon
Slough - just a small town in Guildford Guildford - just a small town in Romford ;D ;D ;D
Pete

I must admit that I'm just happy to make the Finals Weekend - anything else is a bonus.

Pete Fair point, but no matter what game I'm watching, I have to pick a team (although that can get a bit difficult at times ;D) Hi All, I have watched many, many games as a non partisan fan and as long as they are fairly matched I enjoy the game. One thing I have found is that you learn not to see the game through rose tinted glasses and you become better at seeing that the referees calls are usually correct. OK Wardell made some howlers last night. Another point is that I am a Phoenix fan not a fan of another team but I can understand about picking a team to watch them. Pete Not having a go Gord, just my point of view.

No worries - I gathered you weren't "having a go" I guess that I should have pointed out that whilst I can't watch a game as a complete neutral, I can't follow a "loan" team with the same passion that I watch my "own team" (it took a long time for me to make the transition from the Storm to the Phoenix in that respect). You're right about watching a Ref without the added pressure of watching your team. I'll be the first to admit that in the heat of the moment, it's easy to get a bit carried away (until common sense kicks in (d'oh!! lol!!)). It can be a strange experience watching your own supporters get irate about what they consider a "bad call" when you know that they have called it right.
